About UsOn September 20, 1982 irrigation contractors and suppliers from North and South Carolina formed an association for communicating the needs of those persons and institutions who were interested in residential and commercial irrigation. There were approximately fifty individuals who attended this first meeting and over the years the Carolina's Irrigation Association has grown. In the beginning of 2014, we have over 200 members from the two states and a wide range of sponsors from irrigation suppliers. The Carolinas Irrigation Association was created as a unified voice to our industry and the issues that we face. Our mission is to provide educational opportunities; endorse ethical business practices; create working relationships with other green industry groups; influence industry friendly legislation and regulations; and raise the level of understanding of our industry by the public.
